Toyota Camry : DIY Air Filter

Today I have an idea to add an air filter in Camry to make a better air quality and avoid air coil dirt. This tip is not for any newbie, you must have some skills to fix the console.
Materials :
1. 3M air filter part for Toyota Wish
2. Plastic tray
How to do :



1. Find the inflow air hole under the console.



2. Cut the rim of 3M air filter to suit the Camry hole shape because Wish air hole is bigger than Camry is.




3. Make a rigid frame from plastic tray to be an air filter support.



4. Cut the original barrier to make a work space.




5. pull down the plastic frame.



6. Top the air filter on the frame. Beware to install the right side of air filter on the direction of air flow.





7. Release the motor plug for turn on an outside air inflow damper to avoid it hit the new air filter.
8. Finish.

Nissan March : DIY foot-rest


Many Nissan March owners always blame about foot-rest that is a missing important part. Try this DIY foot-rest.







Materials :

1. Toyota Altis foot-rest part

2. Screw driver


How to do :

1. Push foot-rest part on the most comfortable position for you and mark on floor carpet.

2. Take off 2 white anchors from underside of the foot-rest.

3. Drill floor carpet and stick the anchors with screws.

4. Push the foot-rest on anchors.

Nissan Tida : How to eliminate air noise from door sealing

This tip will reduce air noise when you drive with high speed. The budget is extremly low.
Materials :
1. Plastic tubing form aquarium shop
2. Shampoo or soap









How to do :
1. Measure the length of all robber seal of door rim. Each door is about 3.5 meters.
2. Start at the front door, insert the tube at the top corner with hole cap there. Lube the tube with shampoo or soap.
3. Carfully push it throught all length of the door.
4. Repeat to other doors.

Toyota Prius : How to park and allow anyone to push it

The Prius owners always have a problem when they stop the car at somewhere that may have chance to be moved by other people. This is a tip to let the car to be free for pushing.







Materials :


1. Cable ties


2. Cutter


How to do :


1. Take off the right top blue relay that are pointed in the picture. It allows shift lock when you park.


2. tie it with cable ties to make more easy to take it off or push it back.




When you want to park and want your car to be free for pushing, only keep the gear at N and pull handbrake then take the relay off before stop the engine. Release handbrake and push the relay back.

Chevrolet Aveo : DIY insulation foam underside bonnet


You can easily paste insulation sheet underside your car bonnet by yourself.

Materials :

1. Foam insulation sheet with adhesive

2. Cutter

3. Newspaper

How to do :

1. lay down newspaper underside the bonnet and draw each piece on insulation area.

2. Cut insulation sheets.

3. Paste them underside the bonnet.

Last long scented bottle in cabin

If you feel many scented oil or gels are very pungent. I have an idea to make a smoother aroma bottle and it's very long use.













Materials :

1. Small glass bottle

2. Scented soap

3. Lace

4. Branch scissor




How to do :

1. Slice bar soap and put them in the glass bottle.

2. cover the bottle with lace.

3. Tie it by cute ribbon.
